The original Montery Pop Festival negatives have recently been uncovered and these are some of the first prints made from these historic photos . Archivally printed on heavy cotton rag paper , some with hand deckeled edges, the result is beautiful and unique artworks. editions are limited to between 20 and 50.
Neg #6 Shows Jimi Relaxing the day before his famous set, he is watching a performance by Electric Flag featuring guitarist Michael Bloomfield and  drummer  Buddy Miles, who would work with Jimi 3 years later on Band of Gypsys, 24 hours later Jimi is stepping into stardom. In front of Jimi in the VIP section is Richie Furay of Buffalo Springfield. 

It is printed on 300 gsm heavy art paper with a hand deckeled edge and floated under a red edged black mat. Superb!       $1950 framed.​​​​
